A little about me: I’m a single working mom. I do lots of volunteer work around foster care and adoption, and child abuse prevention. I’ve been foster mom for 5 years and have had the blessing of 17 kiddos (not all at the same time (YAKS). I have a son, whom I officially adopted last year! I’m a huge texas longhorn fan, proud mama, decent cook, avid reader, crazy driver and lousy housekeeper.

- Air fresheners: Love glade plug- ins – Hawaiian Breeze is my favorite scent, but I love them all. I like incense – Nag Champa is my favorite, but also like any kind - I love smelly stuff and would be willing to try new things. The only scents I really do not like are pine and musky type stuff.
- Alcohol: drink some, mostly tequila, whiskey and beer, not all at the same time though!!!
- Allergies: washing dishes, folding laundry,
- Bags: I like purses, I like shoulder straps and I like the larger ones, for checkbooks, etc.
- Bath and Body: love all scents for lotions except peach and real strong floral. For shower gels – I REALLY like the suave Cocoa and Shea butter type, I like lip gloss and chapsitck, I like the small purse size lotions ones that I can keep in my desk drawer . I'd love to get some nail polish for my feetsies for sandals!
- Beverages: Like tea and hot chocolate but I’m pretty set with Tea for now( I don’t do coffee, YUKKK!!!!!)
- Birthday: March 1
- Calendar: I like wall types
- Candles: All types – LOVE, LOVE LOVE scented candles the stronger the better, except pine
- Candy/food: Favorite candy – zero bars, kit kats, white chocolate, chocolate covered cherries, but the100% liquid center only, banana laffy taffy, maple nut goodies, favorite snacks –pecans, anything hot or spicy, twinkies, coconut, mojitos gum,
- Clothing: fun, funky, or soft socks, big t- shirts to sleep in 2x
- Clothing accessories:
- Collect: Texas Longhorn Fan – Frida Kahlo Fan, Mexican and African themed items
- Colors: n/a
- Crafts: reading, DUH, baths, I love bubble baths, bath beads, etc .I’d like to get some kid friendly craft sets that J’Shawn and I could do together. I'd love to start sewing and hope to buy a machine in the immediate future. Would love some sewing goodies.
- Credits? Could ALWAYS use credits!!!
- Décor: My kitchen is done in Mexican Fiesta theme, My living room is done in African theme, (not animals, more like African life and masks, etc)
- Garden/Outdoors: - would love to get a bird feeder for outside
- Hobbies: I like to read, and cook, and take bubble baths -
- Gift Cards: target, BBW, Petsmart, Wal Mart, oh and we eat out on occasion at Mc Donald’s, Chick Fil A, and Wendys and Jason’s Deli
- Hair: products, scrunchies, barrettes, headbands? – any would be appreciated as I am letting my hear grow out
- Jewelry: - I usually don’t wear a lot of jewelry but I do like it!. I have pierced ears and prefer silver over gold . I would love to get one of those charm bracelets the divas are always talking about!
- Kids: J’Shawn is 3 and LOVES cars, Scooby Doo, motorcycles and wears a 3t-4t.
- Kitchen: I just started my fiesta waret collection and would love any peices. need some bowls, could use some kitchen towels in bright colors. I love fridge magnets
- Misc: Anything not listed in these categories? - , back scratcher, padded envelopes for mailing books, I love community cook books I’m trying to get more organized, so anthying that could help me would be greatly appreciated.
- Movies: I only have a DVD player, I like all kinds of movies except for westerns and real hard core action - I'd Iove to get the new Hairspray and the new Harry Pottter. I also love disney movies and cartoons and son loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Backyardagains and Scooby Doo - Again, used is perfectly fine with me! I like comedies, horror and chick type movies.
- Music: Huge Madonna Fan (Never outgrew it). I’d love to get some of her older music on CD, Into the Groove, Music,- Again, used is perfectly fine with me!
- Pets: JoJo, he LOVES treat and rawhides
- Shoes: I wear size 8 but have wide feet, so I usually need to shop for them -
- Smoke: NOPE!!!
- Sports: Texas Longhorns!!!!!!!!!!

- Stationary: - I'd love some all occasion and blank cards.
- Wishlist books. – I would really appreciate ANYTHING from my wish list!!!
As far as swaps go, I'm very easy to please and don't mind used items. To me it's not about the price you pay, but the thought behind it.
